The photovoltaic installation will consist of two solar plants of 50 MWp each, totaling a capacity of 100 MWp. It will be located in the province of Cordoba and will be built on an area of approximately 230 Ha.
The installation will consist of the most advanced solar technology, with 278,000 polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules that will occupy a net catchment area of 539,320 sqm. The modules will be mounted on structures with one axis tracking system and the produced direct current will be transformed to alternating current by central inverters of 2.5 MW capacity.
The expected specific production is 1,901 kWh/kWp, to obtain an average annual production of 190 GWh, equivalent to an average annual consumption in Spain of 58,642 households.
The energy evacuation will be carried out through 30/220 kV elevator transformers, located in a common high voltage substation common for both plants. The common substation will have a collector/ elevator/ disconnector configuration. From this substation, it will connect successively with different collector/ disconnector substation of other promoters through a common line of 220 kV, to arrive to the common substations of promoters through a common 220 kV high voltage line. Next, it will connect with the planned renewable position of the 220 kV transport substation of REE through a common link facility.
