The photovoltaic installation will consist of two solar plants of 50 MWp each, totaling a capacity of 100 MWp. It will be located in the province of Jaen and will be built on an area of approximately 230 Ha.
The installation will consist of the most advanced solar technology, with 280,000 polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules that will occupy a net catchment area of 543,200 sqm. The modules will be mounted on structures with one axis tracking system and the produced direct current will be transformed to alternating current by central inverters of 2.5 MW capacity.
The expected specific production is 2,001 kWh/kWp, to obtain an average annual production of 200 GWh, equivalent to an average annual consumption in Spain of 61,728 households.
The energy evacuation will be carried out through 30/220 kV elevator transformers, located in a high voltage substation, common for both plants. The common substation will have a collector/elevator configuration. From this substation, it will connect to a common substation of promoters through a common 220 kV high voltage line, and from there it will connect to the new renewable position in the 220 kV transport substation of REE through a link line.
