This photovoltaic installation is located in Calahorra (Granada) and consists of one solar plant of 50 MWp, which will be built on an area of approximately 117 Ha.
The installation will consist of the most advanced solar technology, with approximately 147,000 polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules occupying a net catchment area of 285,000 sqm. The modules will be mounted on structures with one axis tracking system and the produced direct current will be transformed to alternating current by central inverters of 2.5 MW capacity.
The expected specific production is 2,227 kWh/kWp, to obtain an average annual production of 111.35 GWh, equivalent to an average annual consumption in Spain of 46,790 households.
The energy evacuation will be carried out through a new 220 kV high voltage line of about 2 km length, which will connect to an existing 220 kV line through entrance/exit to it and which connects to the 220/400 kV substation in Hueneja.
This project has been sold to a sponsor and the development is being finalized by the acquirer.
