The photovoltaic installation will consist of three solar plants of 50 MWp each, totaling a capacity of 150 MWp. It will be located in the province of Leon and will be built on an area of approximately 345 Ha.


The installation will consist of the most advanced solar technology, with 417,000 polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules that will occupy a net catchment area of 809,000 sqm. The modules will be mounted on structures with one axis tracking system and the produced direct current will be transformed to alternating current by central inverters of 2.5 MW capacity.


The expected specific production is 1,840 kWh/kWp, to obtain an average annual production of 276 GWh, equivalent to an average annual consumption in Spain of 85,185 households.


The energy evacuation will be carried out through 30/132 kV elevator transformers, located in high voltage substations in each plant. The substations will have collector/elevator and collector/elevator/disconnector configuration. From the last substation and through a common 132 kV high voltage line, it will connect to an elevator substation (132/400 kV) attached to a substation of the transport grid (400 kV), with which will  connect through a link line, sectioning the existing 400 kV line.
