The photovoltaic installation is located between the municipalities of Teba and Campillos (Málaga) and will consist of two solar plants of 50 MWp each, totaling a capacity of 100 MWp, which will be built on an area of approximately 202 Ha.

The installation will consist of the most advanced solar technology, with 245,000 polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules that will occupy a net catchment area of 475,300 sqm. The modules will be mounted on structures with one axis tracking system and the produced direct current will be transformed to alternating current by means of central inverters of 1.5 MW capacity.

Expected specific production is 2,034 kWh/kWp, to obtain an average annual production of 179 GWh, equivalent to an average annual consumption in Spain of 55,247 households.

Energy evacuation will be carried out through a new 220 kV common evacuation line that will connect the 30/220 kV collector substation located in the area next to the plants with an existing 220 kV evacuation line that ends at 220 kV Tajo la Encantada substation.
